LOOK: Netizen who made fun of Duterte by making a song calling the President a “Killer” lambasted by pro-Duterte supporters

The freedom of speech and expression in the Philippines is well practiced by many people from the media, press, and even simple citizens who took their sentiments on social media.

The fact that President Rodrigo Duterte’s critics are spread all over social media posting negative and sometimes fake news against him only proves that the government is not oppressing our right of free speech.



But since Duterte supporters on social media obviously outnumber his critics, anti-Duterte people should be careful and be ready for bashing once they air their sentiments.



One good example is this anti-Duterte netizen named Jasmine Cruz who made her own song dedicated to the President.



In her video post, Jasmine said that her song is a way to make fun of the President of the Philippines. She entitled her song “Killer” and sang it to the tune of Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” and simply addressing Duterte as a killer.

Obviously, Jasmine is pertaining to President Duterte’s war on drugs wherein a lot of drug suspects were reportedly shot to death for their refusal or attempt to fight against authorities during the arrest.

She even boasted that her song comes with dance steps and the lyrics go like, “Duterte is a killer, killer siya! Ang Presidente natin ay killer na sh*nga pa. Killer, killer siya! You’re fighting for your life when you go home and there’s more. Killer, killer siya! You’re fighting for your life because he’s a killer, hitler, sh*nga!”

After singing, the lady also encouraged her followers and other viewers to make their own video or add up to the verse of her song talking about Duterte.
